Graduate Certificates prepare students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled work and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications. The Graduate Certificate in Business Fundamentals offers a contemporary business qualification that is relevant to all disciplines and is particularly useful in equipping professionals with the foundational business knowledge required for career advancement. The course includes core content in business project management, business analytics, data management and security, and transformative technologies that impact society and its business practices. Students will customise their degree with an optional unit drawn from a specialisation such as human resource management, supply chains, marketing and finance. Throughout the course, students will enhance their skills in critical thinking and creativity, and build awareness through collaboration with peers from diverse disciplines – thereby improving their employability. The graduate certificate is modular in nature. It can be completed as a standalone qualification or provide a pathway to the Master of Human Resources, and Master of Finance.
