For Provisional entry (you must be completing Year 12 in the year you apply): An adjusted ATAR 95 (or equivalent), and Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) English, and a competitive University Clinical Aptitude Test for Australia and New Zealand (UCAT ANZ) aggregate score from the year you apply, and attendance at a multiple mini-interview (MMI).
For Graduate entry: a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) (known as a key degree), and a grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 on a 7-point scale in your key degree, and a minimum score of 50 in each section of the Graduate Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT) or for international applicants 504 in the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), and attendance at a multiple mini-interview (MMI), and successful completion of the required MD subject prerequisite courses.
You'll also need to complete: your key degree within 10 years prior to the year you commence the MD, and the GAMSAT within 2 or MCAT within 4 years before the year you commence.
