Standard entry

Recent secondary education - VTAC prerequisite: Year 12 English prerequisite (25) - Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

  • Recent secondary education - VTAC prerequisite: Year 12 subject prerequisite - Other - Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 20 in one of Biology, Chemistry, any Mathematics, Physical Education or Physics.
  • Recent secondary education - UAC prerequisite: Year 12 English prerequisite (Band 3) - equivalent to VCE 25 - One of English Standard, English Advanced (Band 3), English as an Additional Language or Dialect (Band 4).
  • Recent secondary education - UAC prerequisite: Year 12 subject prerequisite - Other - Performance band 3 in one of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Standard 2, Mathematics Extension 2 or Physics
  • Non Year 12 - Higher Education study: HE prerequisites - Course specific requirements - Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
  • Non Year 12 - Higher Education study: HE prerequisites - Course specific requirements - To be eligible for an offer of admission into the Bachelor of Health Information Management at La Trobe University, an applicant must:
  • Meet the stated criteria for Year 12 or Non Year 12 admission,
  • Successful completion of the following four Open Access Pathway subjects with minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 70%:
  • HBS1HBA- HUMAN BIOSCIENCES A
  • STM1001- MAKING SENSE OF DATA
  • HIM1HAU - HEALTHCARE IN AUSTRALIA
  • HIM1UDH - UNDERSTANDING DIGITAL HEALTH
  • International: IELTS - 6.5 < 6.0 (PG minimum) - 6.5 IELTS (Academic) with no individual band less than 6.0.
