The Master of Health and Medical Law (MHlth&MedLaw) gives legal practitioners, doctors, health professionals and administrators the legal knowledge to take the next step in their careers. Its available for both law and non-law graduates and the flexible structure makes it ideal for working professionals looking to immerse themselves in the study of health and medical law. Working with lecturers who are leaders in their fields, and fellow students from Australia and around the world, you will gain advanced understanding of a range of legal and ethical issues relating to the field of health and medical law.

Postgraduate entry
A degree in law (LLB, JD or equivalent) leading to admission to practice with a University of Melbourne equivalent score of at least 70,
A degree in law (LLB, JD or equivalent) leading to admission to practice, or equivalent and two years of documented relevant professional experience,
An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and two years of documented relevant professional experience,
An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
successful completion of four subjects in a cognate graduate diploma and one year of documented relevant professional experience.

If the student's current English result is below the direct-entry requirement, consider the university's recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package. When the student successfully completes the approved pathway at the required level, the university may accept that pathway for English entry without requiring a new IELTS, TOEFL or PTE result.
