Engineering and Science
Course overview
Engineering involves the application of science. Many engineers are fascinated by scientific investigation and eager to enhance their understanding of the pure sciences. Likewise many scientists wish to see their theories applied towards new technologies. If either of these describe you, then this double degree is ideal. Starting with nine engineering specialisations, you can select from over twenty areas of science. The result is an educational experience uniquely tailored to meet your interests and aspirations. The various combinations offer diversity, flexibility and numerous career choices. This course leads to two separate degrees. Depending upon your specialisation, you will be awarded one of: the Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours), or the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours), or the Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours), or the Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (Honours), or the Bachelor of Environmental Engineering (Honours), or the Bachelor of Materials Engine
