Entry requirements

Postgraduate and higher courses usually use academic prerequisites, degree equivalence and English-language requirements.

Postgraduate entry

An Australian bachelor degree in pharmacy, podiatry, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy or equivalent.

  • At least two years relevant clinical experience.
  • Professional registration.
  • Division 1 Registered Nurses who do not have a degree but can demonstrate extensive relevant clinical experience will be considered for admission.

Division 2 Nurses are not eligible for admission.

  • International students located in Australia wishing to study this course must hold professional registration to prACT ice in Australia
  • have the appropriate visa to allow part time study.

All other international students are only able to study this course in their country of residence.

Students located outside Australia must also hold professional registration to prACT ice in their country of residence.

IELTS Academic 7, no band below 7PTE Academic 65, no component below 65TOEFL iBT 98 (L 24 / R 24 / W 27 / S 23)

If your current English result is below direct entry, consider the university-recognised English language pathway or ELICOS package; successful completion at the required level can usually satisfy English entry without another English test.
