Course overview

Our course aims to help students develop nuanced knowledge and effective skills in dealing with the psychosocial contexts, prevention strategies and management techniques for sexual and reproductive health issues. Our course is designed for a range of graduates including health related professionals, social workers, public health officers, laboratory scientists or students who are interested in working in the field of HIV and STIs, psychosexual therapy/sexology, sexual and reproductive health.

Postgraduate entry

Admission to the Graduate Diploma in Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) requires:

  • successful completion of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Science in Medicine
  • a bachelor or postgraduate degree in a health or science related discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification.
English requirement
IELTS Academic 7, no band below 6.5PTE Academic 72, no component below 64TOEFL iBT 96 (L 20 / R 20 / W 22 / S 20)
