Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance

This program is divided into three study areas: jazz performance, core studies, and creative studies. The practical areas are complemented by academic subjects designed to accelerate aural comprehension in improvisation, and equip students with detailed analytical knowledge and conceptual understanding of the development of jazz styles. Students also undertake an intensive study of jazz history and investigate the relationship of jazz to its historical and social circumstances.
