Course overview

This double degree increases career options across design and property economics fields. The design program embraces current industry trends, with a strong focus on human-centred design. Studio experiences provide heightened design opportunities for industry/consumer-informed bespoke (hyper-tailored) systems, products and/or services. Students will develop visualisation skills, effective use of discipline relevant technology and acquire essential career self-management skills. Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and international exchanges provide opportunities to network and receive first-hand industry experience. The property economics program provides details on the role of the numerous property professionals who assess, develop, value, finance and manage all classes of public and private property. It is designed for students who have an interest in the role that property plays in the Australian and international economy and a desire to participate in ensuring that the property industry remains economically and environmentally sustainable and meets the social needs of all members of society.
