The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood & Care: 0-8 years) degree is recognised by both the Teacher Registration Board Western Australia and the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority. This highly-structured and intensive program qualifies students to work with children from birth to eight years in both early learning and school settings. Designed to be completed over four years of full-time study, the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood & Care: 0-8 Years) is a combination of theory and practice. The program covers traditional subjects such as English, Mathematics and the Humanities plus special early childhood education courses such as Play and Pedagogy. In addition, students will be required to undertake 32 weeks of professional experience in a range of early learning and classroom settings.
