Course overview
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and contribute to the development of our communities through education. This course is for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working with children, and aspire to make a positive impact on their learning.
In this course students learn the knowledge and skills necessary to become an effective primary and secondary school teacher and develop their teacher identity. Students gain a strong foundation in educational theory and teaching methodologies, as well as practical experience and engagement with schools and communities.
Students can also choose a teaching area in Physical Education, Psychology, Mathematics, English or Biology. If students select Mathematics as their teaching area of focus, it is strongly recommended that they have completed VCE Mathematics (Methods) at a Year 12 level.
Our graduates possess globally transferable skills to work in an educational context both in Australia and overseas.
