Educational outcomes considered for selection
- Successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or an equivalent in your state or territory,
- Successful completion of the International Baccalaureate.
SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme)
Applicants who have experienced educational disadvantage are encouraged to apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS).
Depending on eligibility and your circumstances, a SEAS application may provide support for your course application.

Applicants with Higher Education study
Applicants with a higher education study
Applicants are eligible for admission if they have completed full-time equivalent higher education study.
However, if an applicant does not meet this requirement, we will assess their admission based on their previous academic history.
This may include consideration of their higher education study results, Year 12 or equivalent study scores, as well as their personal statement.
Bridging and enabling courses
You are eligible to apply if you have completed a Foundation Studies or Tertiary Preparatory program at a university, TAFE or Registered Training Organisation(RTO).
English language test selection
Applicants with overseas qualifications are required to meet English language requirements.
However, exemptions may be granted to applicants who meet the following criteria:
- Completion of the VCE or HSC equivalent senior secondary qualification and/or higher qualifications from an English-speaking country.
- English test: We accept a range of recognised English language tests.

This course uses the entire academic record as part of its selection considerations.

Applicants with a VET study
You must have completed an AQF Certificate IV or above from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
You must also meet any pre-requisites prescribed for the course.

Requirements for applicants who did not complete Year 12: Applicants under this category will be assessed on a case-by-case basis on one or more of the following:
- Substantial relevant work experience that demonstrates that you have satisfied the entry requirements for the course,
- Completion of any relevant non-formal courses,
- A personal statement outlining your motivation to study the course and details of personal circumstances, including your life and work experience.
You should provide any aspect of your personal history that may support your application, including community service, work experience, and achievements.

Requirements for applicants who completed Year 12 more than two years ago: Applicants who completed their Year 12 studies more than two years ago but have not completed any VET or higher education studies are assessed according to their Year 12 results.
