Australian Startup Achieva AI Wins Government Innovation Award for EdTech Platform

Achieva AI has been recognised by the Australian Government for outstanding innovation in education technology, cementing its position as a leading force in the sector.

Sydney-based Achieva AI has been awarded the Highly Commended honour in the Innovation in Education category at the 2025 NSW International Education Industry Awards.

The award, presented by the Hon Anoulack Chanthivong MP, recognises Achieva AI for applying generative AI to international student recruitment — an area that has historically resisted automation.

Why It Matters

International education is one of Australia's largest export sectors, worth over AUD 40 billion a year. Making the student experience smoother and more reliable is not just good for students — it is an economic imperative for the country.

Founder Sari Halabi said the recognition reflects the company mission: to make high-quality education guidance accessible to every student, regardless of background.
